Events
The Events in your Books are like triggers in
the Background, that enable automated tasks
based on specific occurrences like a checked or
posted transaction.
Events track all activities in a Book. It is an
audit trail of everything that has been done,
by whom (a user), or by what (a bot,
automation, etc.).

A sequence of events provides a traceable activity of
what has occured in your books.
This means Events provide crucial transparency which is
essential for collaboration and trust in an automated
environment.
It lets you identify clearly who or which automation
has done what and when in your books.
Event Automations
Event Automations
Think of Events as 'announcements' made in the
background for everything relevant that happens in a
book (e.g., Posting or checking a transaction)
Automations, like Bots and Agents, 'listen' for these
announcements. When they detect an Event they're
designed for, they automatically perform their task(s).
Imagine: You post a stock purchase (an Event). The
Portfolio Bot instantly syncs the new quantity of
shares in your 'Instruments' book.
