How it works
The short version.

Refer someone
Referral tracking can happen through a partner link, sharing a Book you own, or future product flows. Tracking fills an empty referrer only.
- 02
They pay Bkper
When a referred customer pays for a Bkper subscription, commission is tracked on the subscription portion of that payment.
- 03
Commission clears
Commission starts pending and becomes payable after a 30-day clearing period, as long as the payment is not refunded, credited, charged back, or invalid.
- 04
Payout unlocks
To get paid, complete Partner Ready, accept the terms, add valid payout details, and reach the payout threshold.

- Clients referred by partners = clients you refer × partners you refer.
- Direct client commission = clients you refer × client plan × 20%.
- Partner subscription commission = partners you refer × partner plan × 20%.
- Mentor bonus = clients referred by partners × client plan × 5%.
- Annualized commission = estimated monthly commission × 12.
Estimates are illustrative. Commissions recur while subscriptions remain active and eligible under the terms; payouts depend on clearing, threshold, payout details, Partner Ready status, and other program requirements.

Commission is the recurring layer on top of the work you already bill. Price and collect your own setup, cleanup, training, reporting, automation, or advisory fees directly from clients. Bkper partner commission adds recurring revenue when those clients stay subscribed.
Partner Ready
Use Bkper before presenting yourself as a Bkper Partner.
Referral tracking works before Partner Ready. Payouts and official partner status unlock after Bkper can see that you are onboarded and have shared an owned Book.

Earnings can be tracked before readiness is complete. They stay locked until payout requirements are met.
Trust rules
Clear attribution. Customer control. No hidden price change.
One current partner-of-record
Automatic attribution only fills an empty referrer. It does not silently replace an existing partner relationship.
The customer can change it
A referred customer can see, change, or remove their partner-of-record. Changes apply prospectively.
Compensation is disclosed
Customers should know that Bkper may compensate the partner who introduced them. Their subscription price does not change.

As AI compresses repetitive prep, categorization, reconciliation, and document work, clients still need people who understand the business, protect data, review exceptions, and stand behind decisions.
Bkper gives those workflows a zero-sum source of truth. Bkper Partners shares recurring value with the professionals who help clients adopt reviewable systems that last.

- Is Bkper Partners live yet?Not yet. This is a partner-program preview so we can collect feedback and understand real partner use cases before rollout. If you are interested, share a few details and we may schedule a short conversation.
- Where can I read the draft terms?You can preview the draft Partner Program Terms. They are not final and may change before launch.
- Is this an affiliate program?No. Bkper Partners is built for people who help others adopt Bkper through trust, education, implementation, and retention. The underlying Partner Program is capped at a direct customer commission plus one mentor bonus. There is no third layer.
- Do referred customers get a discount?No default discount is included in v1. Partner compensation is paid by Bkper at no extra cost to the customer.
- Can anyone participate?Anyone with a Bkper account can be referred and can refer others. Payouts require Partner Ready status, accepted terms, valid payout details, the payout threshold, and no active suspension.
- What revenue is commissionable?Bkper subscription revenue is commissionable. Taxes, refunds, credits, chargebacks, and separately billed Bkper professional services are excluded.
- When are commissions paid?Commissions are pending for 30 days, then become payable if not reversed. Payouts are monthly once payout requirements and the minimum expected net payout threshold are met.
